This article explains how to create or delete users in an organization. You will also find details about the predefined user profiles.
In the Wattsense console, to acess the user management module, click on the Organization button of the left menu and then on the user management Tab.
How to create a user
Select the organization in which you want to create a user and click on the "Add user to organization" button
User information will be entered on the next page :
Fill in the fields (email address, user name, phone number, language).
Check the organizations and the associated user rights (for more information on user rights, please refer to the corresponding paragraph below).
If you have multiple organizations, then you will be able to set Access for all organizations.
You can also grant rights specifically to one (or a group) of Boxes. If nothing is selected here, then the user will have access to all boxes.
If you want to customize a box permission for a specific user, click on the Add new Box privileges, select a box and complete the required settings :
The Remove custom permissions button returns the permission list to the default.
Once saved, an onboarding email is send to the specified email address |

If the attributes are modified, the user profile name will be changed to "Custom rights".
Typically, user profile restrictions are NOT directly visible on the console interface. All buttons and menus are visible and accessible at any time. But if the user is marked "read only", he will receive an error message when he tries to modify a setting or configuration. |
In some cases however, certain parts of the interface are grayed out or hidden depending on the user's rights. The tables below detail these elements.

The general user profile can be overridden by the permissions granted to a particular box. In the example below, the user is a read-only user, but has full access to Tim's Box. |

How to delete a user
If you want to delete a user from your organization you will have to setup his right to "No access".
Go to the "user Management" Tab, then select the user you want to delete in the list and click on the modify button.
Modify his rights to "No access".
Click on save:
Then the user will be deleted from your organization.
