This article is about the license points.
A data point is a discrete unit of information. Depending on your license you will have a certain number of data points.
The same data point as input is the same point as output, that still only counts as one point.
Tower licenses
Additional points are only available for the Tower because the information can be added remotely.

Bridge licenses
Additional points can not be added to the Bridge because the points are local. If you need to add more points you shall change the license in your Bridge.

Example:
If your license contains 100 points, you could have 4 sensors using 25 points each one. You can still use your license because you have access to 100 points.
With 2 sensors and 25 points your license continues working as long as you do not exceed the threshold.
