-
It will be yellow with a red dot on the top left corner if the alarm default severity is critical and its status acknowledged
-
It will be yellow if the alarm default severity is standard and its status acknowledged
-
It will be grey with a red dot on the top left corner if the alarm default severity is critical and its status closed
-
It will be grey if the alarm default severity is standard and its status closed
This info is available when hovering the circle.

Understand why an alert was created
Depending on the condition set at the alarm creation, you will see the last values recorded for the properties to help you understand why the alarm was triggered and why the alert was created.
The list of the different alerts created by the alarm is also displayed.
Depending on your notification settings, you may not have received a notification for every alert as notifications are sent either every 24 hours or either every week.
Update the status or the severity of an alert
One can edit an alert to change the severity if it is not deemed appropriate or to edit the status after an intervention on site for example.
To do so, click on the links available next to the status or next to the severity of the alarm.
You can also click on the edit icon next to the last alert in the alerts history section.
-
The status of the last alert can be set to “Acknowledged”, “Closed” or “Open”.
If changed, it is possible to replicate the modification to the past alerts or to the alarm itself.
Editing past alerts can be considered as housekeeping whereas editing the status of the alarm has more implications:
-
If an alarm is acknowledged, it remains acknowledged until the alarm is closed or open again (manually).
New alerts will be created if the alarm is triggered again but no notifications will be sent -
If an alarm is closed, it will stay closed till the alarm is triggered again.
If it happens, notifications will be sent for the new alerts.
-
The severity of the last alert can be edited to the appropriate level.
-
A comment can be added to justify the change or to describe the analysis performed by the technician.
If a modification is made to the alert, its details are mentioned in the alerts history.
